Swan Drive Inn: The Swan is one of four drive-in theatres in the state of Georgia that is still operating. The Swan Drive In Theatre offers a unique taste of the past with current first run movies. You can enjoy a movie outside under the stars or in the privacy of your car. Don't worry about crying babies or non-smoking areas, you can relax and enjoy yourself. The Swan prides itself on being a family oriented theatre and has a zero tolerance for bad conduct so come on out and enjoy a movie.

Blue Ridge Community Theater: Our mission is to enrich the cultural life and education of the residents and visitors of our area through productions and performances of all aspects of contemporary and classical theater. www.blueridgecommunitytheater.com
Rollins Planetarium: The Rollins Planetarium features a GOTO Chronos Space Simulator star projector. This state-of-the-art device uses light guide technology to optically project a realistic and beautiful starry sky. In all, some 8500 stars are projected, down to the faintest stars visible to the human eye under ideal viewing conditions. With high-speed, computer-calculated positioning, a simple click of a mouse sets the sky for any time in the past, present or future, and for any location on Earth or elsewhere in the solar system-- all in 20 seconds or less! Installed at Young Harris in 2002, the projector was the first installation of the Chronos model anywhere in the world.

Blue Ridge Scenic Railway: The Scenic Railway departs from the old depot in downtown Blue Ridge. Your destination is downtown McCaysville, Georgia. Walk across the "Blue Line" on the street and you're in Copperhill, Tennessee! The rail adventure is a 3 1/2 hour 26 mile round trip, with a 1 1/2 hour layover to explore. www.brscenic.com

Mercier’s Apple Orchard: Mercier's bakery doesn't just produce the most famous fried apple pies in the mountains -- also peach, blueberry, chocolate and coconut, among others. The apple house offers a huge selection of jellies, jams, smoked trout and other gift items to create gift baskets for the holidays. The orchard recently added picture windows in the bakery and fruit processing areas to allow tourists to see the action firsthand. Tourists can also "pick their own" apples in the fall.

Blue Ridge Adventure Race: In the spring of 1998, the first Blue Ridge Mountain Adventure Race started as Georgia’s first adventure race. Eight years later the race continues to be a favorite of racers throughout the southeast. Teams look forward to a new adventure welcoming spring to Georgia’s Blue Ridge Mountains. Organizers of the Ninth Annual Blue Ridge Mountain Adventure Race on April 8, 2006, promise a challenging contest with lots of surprises and some of the most stunning scenery anywhere -- plus the famous Blue Ridge hospitality racers have come to expect and enjoy. So get your team ready to run, paddle, mountain bike and navigate in the beautiful North Georgia Mountains. Up to 100 co-ed teams of three (plus one support person) will run along the forested trails of the Chattahoochee National Forest, paddle on the Toccoa River and/or Lake Blue Ridge, mountain bike steep trails and complete mystery challenges along the way. Although the course changes from year to year, the finish line is still in downtown Blue Ridge City Park, with live music, food and relaxing fun.
